OUR CHILDREN.

OUR COMMUNITY.

We believe that no child should ever be subjected to the pain of abuse or the lasting emotional trauma it leaves behind. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo and Starr Counties was established in 2000 when a local two year old’s life ended tragically as a result of abuse. Child abuse and neglect is not an isolated ocurrence.
